The purpose of this tour is to promote sustainability, join others in our "chicken community", share knowledge, coop ideas and just have fun!
If you want or have chickens or are just chicken curious, this FREE
self-guided tour is for you! It's an opportunity to see a variety of
Wise County's chicken coops from basic and functional to artsy and
funky. "Tour-ists" will benefit from seeing an array of breeds as well
as helpful information from the coop owners. Some coop stops will have
other sustainable projects such as organic gardening, composting,
bee-keeping and certified wildlife habitats.
